Madelyn grasped the edge of a cliff, and latched on firmly. She was battered by the flowing water, hard as ice and even colder, and couldn't concentrate enough to get up. She wondered why the water was even cold: it came from the volcanic areas, split into either the ice-cold Physis area and was frozen, or flew into the hot tropical forests of Korr. They then rejoined and became this one river ... and it was so chilly.

[Lillipad]

"I doubt they'd send out the only copies of any records they keep. If the information got stolen it could be catastrophic to their organization."

[The Fool]

"We only need one spider, so it shouldn't hurt to lose one!" With a quick turn to the spider, Zario swung his blades, cutting into the spider.

[Dwarmin]

Madelyn gritted her teeth, ignoring the unseasonable cold. She would not wait till she was exhausted and plunge to her death...

She reached and began attempting climbing once more.

[Weirdsound]

Donitz hurries outside, holding the bag of money. "If he's still alive, don't finish him. Now that he is out of the picture, I can tell you the truth. But I'd rather accept the opprutunity to interrogate this Paladin as my price, than I would the gold in this bag."

[Skyrunner]

Madelyn gritted her teeth, ignoring the unseasonable cold. She would not wait till she was exhausted and plunge to her death...

She reached and began attempting climbing once more.

Madelyn pocketed her L-rods and started climbing. She kept to the harder rocks, not crumbly sand-stone or such.

It took a bunch of attempts and a lot of resting, but she finally clambered over the lip of the canyon. At the top, she met the eyes of a green leaf lizard. She recalled that they often viciously attacked if you look at them funny.

"I doubt they'd send out the only copies of any records they keep. If the information got stolen it could be catastrophic to their organization."

"Fine, then, let us enter their tent or something. At night, maybe?"

"We only need one spider, so it shouldn't hurt to lose one!" With a quick turn to the spider, Zario swung his blades, cutting into the spider.

Zario's blades severed the spider's body for 43 combined damage from two hits. The spider fell apart and shattered.

A masked goblin tried to approach. Kiri created a lightning bolt and shocked it for a short while.

Donitz hurries outside, holding the bag of money. "If he's still alive, don't finish him. Now that he is out of the picture, I can tell you the truth. But I'd rather accept the opprutunity to interrogate this Paladin as my price, than I would the gold in this bag."

"Hmm, you have some debts to receive from the paladins, ay? Then answer my question, and I will not need of money."
The paladin groaned on the ground in pain.

[Lillipad]

"We'll meet back here tomorrow at midnight. I'll be spending as much time as I can training in the dungeons or learning alchemy."
>Go to the easier dungeon I was told about.

[Weirdsound]

"The girl was here last night, and assuming nothing... tragic and Paladin related happens, and she will be back again at some point. There is a very good chance I can get her handed over without a fight."

Donitz checks the Paladin's vitals. "Help me get this guy inside, bound, and disarmed. I'll fill you in on the details once I'm sure he isn't getting away."

[The Fool]

Zario saw the opening that Kiri had made for him. "Thanks. I've got this one." He dashed up to the goblin in hopes that he could slash at it's throat before it could recover.

[Shoruke]

Eosri goes to visit the town cheif again to check the prices of spellbooks, and to announce his imminent departure.

[Dwarmin]

Madelyn nodded, looking away. Surely, this day could get no worse!

Action: Madelyn carefully tries to not look at the lizard in a funny way.
