Dungeon Master Arrives...

Without any pants.

As soon as she arrived, she got the "pick up equipment" job and went to grab a pair of x(giant cave spider silk trousers)x that were laying around.

The clothes she came with were simply extravagant, however.

My DMs seem to usually show up wearing a cloak, hood, and mittens.  I assumed that's just the way they were.

But she obviously was supposed to be wearing pants or she wouldn't have grabbed them. It just seems odd.

It's not odd. In the dwarven kingdom there's the rule: dungeon mistres.. masters should wear no pants and put the round ball in their mouth.
But when the poor fetish master arrives at your remote settlement, she spits the ball out and grabs the nearest pants, because there're no king's watchers.

You know, I'd almost bet it's a value/points thing. The immigrant dwarves get N points for embark equipment; it's a noble, which means more extravagant - that is to say, expensive - clothing; and so they spend all their points on a couple of expensive items as opposed to having a full set of lower quality stuff.

Yeah, they are supposed to be dressed like that, and their equipment handling is supposed to make them not care about pants.  I guess that's not working.

The cloak is voluminous.  Maybe it also has special pouches.

You can't blame a dwarf for liking the feel of giant mole leather.

Hi!

So, Dungeon Masters walk around the statue gardens and parks just wearing a cloak/coat ...... Somehow, that is something I would rather not think about too much in detail... (^_^;;
