You serious? My weaver's once made an artefact red cloak.

I guess rope is the only cool thing a weaver can make as an artifact.
Anyone have anything cool a weaver has made them that's useful/neat?

Artefact red cloak.
You must capture a goblin tame him and teach him in the ways of Armok and have him become your high priest giving him said cloak.  There is no other option available to you.

So, I placed my rope in middle of a very active hallway, and placed a puppy on it. I wanted to build a well w/ the rope so I uninstalled the rope. Month later I looked for it but couldn't find it. I found it on my puppy!

So, I couldn't think of a good way to remove it from the dogs neck, so of course... to the butcher shop! (pay no attention to the elf's at my traders depot.. they umm.. sorry, un-dwarfy, I should kill them I know, but they gave me a cave croc!)

So then I thought the butcher just was hack'n away and must of hacked up the rope...

Found it on the floor right by the butcher shop... whew!

Learned: If you just uninstall the rope, the animal will keep it. If you butcher the animal w/ a rope around it's neck it won't be destroyed.

I once edited the raws to allow for every material to be useable in artefacts.
One of the assorted off artefacts was a shirt that menaced with spikes of horse skin.
Spikes of horse skin that could be called, were I to be a fan of needless multilingual puns, hippo-dermic needles.

A Cave spider silk sock. I nearly fell off of my chair when I saw that one. with all the gems and gold gone into decorations, it is truly a sock to die for

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

Aren't all materials currently able to be strange mooded?

And isn't it hard coded?

Also:
Artefact red cloak.

Did that fort have 300 dwarves? And did they all have copper shields with iron spears, and no armor at all?
"THIS IS DWARFTA!" *Kicks goblin into the pit going into the Circus*

Well they wore no armour beyond red cloaks, only had wooden shields and scavenged weapons. That fit the bill? Because I have no metals :P
