Weird bug with Tanner's Workshop

I had a tanner's workshop taken over by a possessed jeweler dwarf who then proceeded to create a perfec turquoise gem there.  However, I didn't have a jeweler's workshop at the time.  Now, my tanner's workshop has been transformed into a jeweler's workshop, but we are still tanning hides there.  I can't select any other options for the building that relate to tanning, but it seems to automatically create the tan function when we butcher something nearby.  When I try and add orders to the building it displays jewel crafting ones now.  Is this a known bug?

I've seen it mentioned here before, and I've had a Buther's Shop transformed into a Clothesmaker's Shop and Butcher An Animal was perma-queued.

Well, one of my metalsmith was taken by mood. Then he used a magma forge to create a piccolo (with ore, not bars) and became a legendary Furnace Operator. Too bad he didn't become a legendary weapon smith.

Another smith was not that lucky, I didn't know what kind of workshop he needed(I have most kinds of workshops, including forge and furnace), so he died. A jeweler took over a jewler's workshop, and asked for rough gems(maybe glasses, because I had most kinds of rough gems). She went berserk later, and was killed by a war dog(bitten into pieces).

I think you can build another shop. I always do that because previous ones get (CLT)ed and cleaning might take a long while. Butcher's shops usually have tons of bones in them.

It's not a bug. In some rare cases, one dwarf might take over a shop and change it into what he needs to make his artifact. Most of the time, he'll simply wait until you build the right workshop if you didn't have it up and running yet.

On old forts, this kind of behavior go totally unnoticed because most of the time you already have at least one of each workshop already assigned permanently somewhere.
