Child not removed from bag
« on: November 18, 2007, 02:10:00 am »

Apparently one of my dwarves is a rather... overprotective parent. Her kid was the victim of being kidnapped but was rescued before the goblin got away. Unfortunately, it seems the parent went into shock from this, and never even let the kid out of the bag after this.

She carried it around with her, until the poor kid finally went melancholy, still inside the bag.

I managed to get the kid out of the bag by ordering it dumped. Some other dwarf grabbed the bag from the sleeping mother, then when I undesignated it, dropped it and wandered off.

The kid crawled out shortly after.

What I find interesting is that there are some seeds in the bag with him. Apparently he was being fed and given drinks just fine, but the problem was that he couldn't sleep. If only "caged" units could sleep... it might keep them from going crazy as easily...
