I am rather lacking in ambition and drive. I find that I'm useless, 80% of the time.

In this day and age, it is more likely than not that you are also in lack of meaningful and supportive relationships which reciprocate your own interests and ideals. This deficiency is often characteristic of more idea, cause, and order oriented people and may relate to friends and family (or the absence thereof) or "cult institution."  You might experiment with local community service and activities, hobby enthusiast gatherings, or a philosophic or religious establishment.

My poor knowledge of psychiatry tells me that this are probably subconscious messages from other parts of your mind, or something like this, I don't know...

I'm trying to figure out any possible connections between my choices of forum avatars and my rather unsatisfactory appearance. There are lots of people who are way uglier than me who choose badass-looking avatars as one of their ways of escaping their inferiority complex. The fact that such people tend to be complete douchebags makes me feel bad.
