I got a mandate for doing some carpenter's guild jobs. So my legendary Carpenter started to make some beds, but the mandate counter didn't decrease. After putting a normal dwarve on the job it worked fine. I'm not sure whether this is feature or bug, it could well be that it's intended that legendary dwarves are a kind of freelance artists outside the guild. But it's a bit annoying nevertheless to have to turn your best crafter off to get the job done.

Ah, that was a bug.  It wasn't tracking their work locations either (they use their work locations to decide on rental locations, though that isn't usually a factor and might be removed for burrows anyway).  It's fixed now.  Of course, it probably shouldn't count in a sense, since nobody's getting paid, but the job setting annoyance is more of an issue now.
