Trying to remember the name of a dungeon crawler

It was 2D, top down dungeon crawler from perhaps 13 or 14 years ago? Hack and smashy fast paced but with party members I think. The maps may have been randomly generated.

Anybody have an idea? Or perhaps recommend me something similar?

There were very simple character types I think, like Barbarian, Wizard, etc... er.. thats also not so helpful maybe,

Also, thanks for mentioning Gauntlet, that wasn't it, but it helped me find what I was thinking of, this.
