3D question

Do alot of people play 3D and is it better? I never even knew it excitsted till i really thought about it i been playing Mayday ever sence i first got it and i have been really liking it but i want to try 3D

actually i do have a question what do people mean when they talk about the 3D virsion talk about the 2D?

The versions from 23a and before had no z-levels. Basically, imagine a fort built entirely on a single z-level; that was how the game worked back then. The move to 3D was the introduction of z-levels; instead of being able to only go east to west and north to south, you could also go up and down. A third dimension of movement and construction, you see. If you look back at some of the old forts, like the infamous Boatmurdered, you can see forts built on the 2D version and see how they differed quite a bit from the more recent ones.
