Dwarves don't use subterranean water for cleaning
« on: January 10, 2012, 08:04:17 am »

My miner got in a mining accident and got a broken right upper leg and left hand.
My dwarves try to clean him but they can't, because no water source.
I marked a few places as watersources in a cavern, but they're not using it.

Try building a well.  Dwarves don't seem to want to use non-well sources for cleaning.

Oh nevermind, the guy decided that he's in great shape and ran off. He doesn't have an infection.

You still have a problem man! What about the next dwarf or the next or even the next!? What are you going to do then! I say make the hospital next to the subterranean water and build pumps to flood and kill the weak!... or just build a well.

I build the hospital it's own reservoir. Then it's always got water.
