Clearly, you have reached a state of perfect equilibrium.

If you have 200 or more seeds, brewed/processed/eaten plants do not leave seeds.

This is intentional.  The game caps each type of seed at 200 to prevent the number of seeds from increasing without limit over time.

Possibly even increasing exponentially, depending on farmer skill and what you use plants for. Its not as if you need more than 200 anyway.

Fair enough. [Although] it [still] seems overly artificial when you could just prioritize seeds over 200 for cooking and get more out of it
