The Green Lantern. Had potential, failed miserably.

LOOK GUYS IT'S SEXUAL TENSION SEE GUYS ARE YOU CATCHING THIS?

I was pleasantly surprised that they included the corps as part of the story. The movie was more true to the source material than I expected. I went into it completely expecting that Oa would never be mentioned. But yes, the romantic subplot was awkwardly stapled on in a way that made it neither convincing nor especially relevant to anything. And there were other things it did that really didn't work. The movie did occasionally prompt me to think "why is this happening? This is dumb." But it did nevertheless manage to be entertaining.

Kung Fu Panda 2 was pretty awesome.
This was the only movie I saw from this year.  It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it.  I haven't really been watching any other films.

Super was one of the most unique takes on the super hero thing

Just saw this, and yes...Super did some things I don't think I've ever seen in a movie before. Deserves much credit for originality.
