Have you ever seen a video on the internet which shows a supposed "Monster"? The shaky videos that barely show a man disappear out of mid-air, or some kind of large creature running around in the woods? You may have laughed at these and considered this as CGI, but there are some videos which can leave someone wondering "How the hell did they pull that special effect off?"
The truth is some of these videos are actually real, and monsters of myth certainly do roam the streets at night or even more horrifying, walking among us disguised during the day. Although some of these monsters intentions may be good, the fact is most of them aren't. They plot to further their own wants and needs, and many regularly kill humans.
Human kind would have been long gone by now if there weren't people willing to hunt these monsters, ever since the dawn of man there have been groups of hunters fighting against the menace that lurked in the shadows.
Average day hunters form small groups to protect their neighborhood, or to further some kind of goal. Most of these groups are motley little collections of average day people, which are called Cells. There are a few larger groups out there, and even small rumors of even bigger groups.
Most Hunters start out as normal people, going to work everyday and going through their lives. That is until something happens to them, a family member could of died a mysterious way, or they noticed an odd presence lurking outside their homes. As soon as they know the truth they vow to hunt down these monsters, often forming a group with friends and family members.
They remain ever vigilant in hunting the monster threat, but there are far more monsters of myth than there are Hunters...

You return home after another long day at work, you set your things down and relax onto your couch. It's raining cats and dogs outside, and to your avail the cable seems to be out and you can't even watch TV.
You swear you can hear something weird walking around outside, probably just another damn stray dog or cat running around again.
