Goddamn it, when I read the title, I thought it was an invitation for a !!SCIENCE!! experiment.

You know, like that commercial where the kid asks the owl how many licks it takes to get to the center of the lollipop, only this time the owl stabs the kid in the neck and then flies off with the lollipop.

Speaking of neck wounds, you can live for several turns after being slashed in the neck, provided that you have no other bleeding wounds. I believe it's around 10 turns, maybe 15 if you're lucky.
