My haunted forest/mountain biome is devoid of undead

Is it only terrifying biomes that curse creatures with undeath?

There have been plenty of werewolves, some badgers, other uninteresting forest critters etc, but no undead. I'm a bit disappointed.

If I remember "evil" biomes can result in three different things: normal embark with evil stuff, or full of undead, or full of zombies.
