Yeah, I have a similar situation - a good start, fort about 3 or 4 years old, thought I had a thief or two a year or so ago but that's been it. Found candy and equipped a few squads, so that plus my normal crafts have my total wealth at 10 mil or so, so I'd have thought I'd have seen something by now... 

I know the goblins are out there, but they seem reluctant to visit...    may have to take my frustrations out on the elves when their next caravan comes!
