All the exported bitmaps of my fort have black gaps running through them. In horizontal forts, the bands are vertical and in fresh, small forts they're horizontal. How do I get rid of these?http://img.waffleimages.com/5e095ee86a879cd0e196b34e5d0b9577a398bcdb/dwarffort.JPG

I've never had the problem with the gaps, but I do tend to get a lot of fuzzy white space at the top of my maps when I export pics of my fortress.

I've had similar issues when I export a bitmap when running in windowed mode, where the window is larger than the screen due to resolution issues...

Out of curiosity, are you running the latest version?

I've tried it in both windowed and fullscreen mode. I do have the newest version.

I couldn't see any anomalies in that JPEG you posted.  It looked like a standard reduced-scale version of a typical concatenated map view.

I think I've fixed the issues that I know about, but I see the vertical stripes there.  What are your window settings and your graphics settings?  The important things will be all the dimensions you are using, such as the dimension of the window and the dimensions of your tiles if you aren't using the default ones.  Also important to know if you are in fullscreen.

Oh, ha, now I see them.  They were so large that I thought it was just blank unmined mountain.  Somehow it didn't click that it's not quite possible to do that...
