Screen Capture programs (I need advice)
« on: November 14, 2011, 03:56:55 am »

What programs (windows 7) can I use to screencap some dwarf fortress? I would like to also be able to record synced audio through my webcam. I tried using VH Capture with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2, but the video was choppy whenever I would move the view within DF or when I unpaused and dwarves were moving around the screen. I want to make some tutorial videos, including really in-depth tutorials on things like well-building, military setup, pump-stack creation, etc. Please, Urists of the forums, help me out!

Preferably free programs.

http://camstudio.org/

Free and supports a decent number of functions like only capturing certain areas, etc.
Can output in AVI and I think FLV. Should do what you want, remember to go into the options
and remove the watermark.
