Hydra attack may be broken
« on: January 06, 2008, 07:16:00 am »

The hydra came, went down my underground hatch, then broke one of my doors that I just locked.  I had a double door behind that, which I locked too.  After breaking my first door, it arrived at the double doors and stopped, not breaking them. This lasted for a couple minutes before I decided to cage it.  Going around and following the route the hydra took, one of my dwarves got close enough (couple spaces) for the hydra to promptly attack, so it wasn't as if the hydra was stuck on a endless loop.

I once had a bronze colossus run up 1 space away from a floodgate (instead of the 2 spaces it normally does) and sit there for a while. I then had to distract it with a yummy recruit before I could get it to continue to massacre the -pig tail trousers- off of my fortress.

Save with a stalled megabeast would be handy.  Not sure what's up.

Sorry, it happened awhile ago, so the save was overwritten.

Okay Toady.  This is a different circumstance, but the megabeast is stalled nonetheless.  I had my bridges closed before the dragon arrived, and I opened up one of my bridges (the back door entrance) to allow the dragon inside.  But it's doing something else on my front bridge entrance.

Oh, and another odd thing popped up.  My carpenters aren't working on their tasks.  They have "no job" when they have their own workshops queued up with a list of stuff to do.  Maybe you'll be able to see this on the save.

I was able to get past this by giving the orders directly (instead of the "manager" typed orders that were there)

Okay, I've downloaded it and I'll take a look at some point.

Okay, it was a little confused about the bridge, but it'll burn the crap out of your city in the next version.
