The companion takes the stand
« on: November 06, 2011, 11:44:09 pm »

I sort of posted something likewise in the Adventure Discussion section though I should've posted it here:

Recently just got the idea while playing in adventure mode for a while - It would be interesting to have an option to take over/control one of your adventuring companions after the current hero dies, like taking the new lead of the travelling party.

I would very much like it. The whole "picking up dead leader's arms and cause" is such a common trope in storytelling anyway. It wouldn't be too hard to code anyway, and also make the NPCs feel a bit more real and not like walking tools the PC use.

It would kinda make companions feel less like "Human Shields" and more heroic in a good way.

if you dont mind the work you can have a party of Adventures, just talk to your old Adventures to get them to join you.

bonus old heros have there old gear and trophys.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.
