[33g] War Dogs
« on: January 05, 2008, 10:55:00 am »

Not entirely sure this is a new bug but I didnt see it on the bug report list.

I had a Dwarf leatherworker get struck by a melancholy mood. I had never seen this mood before so I was afraid he might go berserk, so I assigned him a few war dogs to keep him company. Well after he died of thirst and his body decomposed, the war dogs are still assigned to him.

I've had the same issue, some of my war animals were assigned to a bone carver who went beserk, after he starved to death the animals still show up as his pets.

I think that's intentional. 'sides, it's pretty neat to see how uh... loyal dwarven pets are after a few days of butchering their own master.

I have the same issue with two wardogs assigned to a melancholic royal guard.

Yeah, I ran into the same issue with a Hunting Dog who's hunter died ... The dog didn't even follow said hunter... stupid dog, got his master killed.
