Using Dwarf Fortress on Galaxy SII
« on: November 04, 2011, 09:29:53 pm »

Hello everyone, recently I stumbled across this: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=50643.0

I was wondering if anyone has gotten this to work using their Galaxy S II? and if so what telnet app did they use on the phone?

Thanks

I tried using ConnectBot on a Samsung Intercept once, not DFTerm, just running plain ol Dwarf Fortress on [DISPLAY:TEXT].  It worked except I could never get CP437 characters to work right, so... generating worlds on the go. :P

Not sure how well DFTerm would work with this, but it's probably worth a look-see. ConnectBot does support telnet connections after all.

"But I'm talkin' about the shaft!"
"Then we can dig it."

Is that the program that was made based off putty for the Nokia? and how was the useability, in both screen size and keyboard configuration?
