Interesting suggestions. I'll wait to see if there are any worse though.

elvira! (not the arcade one, the first person one)

There were two. I only played one of them, I don't recall which...but while I won't disagree that they were bad, they weren't altogether horrible.

They might make a good Let's Play, but they're plagued with Unnwinnable By Mistake. Do some particular thing, or fail to do it, and the game can be rendered unwinnable with no indication, requiring restoration from previous saves. Complicated by the fact that the unwinnable events aren't always obvious and it might occasionally be hours of gameplay between making a mistake and realizing it.

Bad yes, but frustrating bad rather than comically bad.

So far Friday the 13th for NES has three votes. And it is comically bad, and would also probably make a good Let's Play. Elvira might result in swearing and looking up guides. Friday the 13th is more likely to result in confused skyward glances and regular chanting of, "...what? Why? WHY!?!?!?"

I've played the second, the one that's set in modern times.

it was hard, in a bad way as you say, but sure it was scary! (I was also a boy so ymmv)

Illbleed

I can be funny at times, it is meant to be a comedy... but it is mostly just outright disturbing and its gameplay is mostly meh.

Monster Party could be another one... in that it is BORING, the enemies are boring, and its only gimic that is any good has a time limit.

The first Alone in the Dark isn't what I'd call bad, but it's... not exactly modern. And it does make for good LPs.

The second, Third, and remake however...

The white chamber. It's charmingly amateurish, rather than especially bad. Should make for decent LP fodder.
