And when the site infiltration feature is done, we can do that thing where two short people disguise themselves as one tall guy in a trenchcoat. Except the two people in question will be halves of the same person.
The perfect disguise.

  Wow, thanks!

On topic, I like to think that monsters with more than one of an organ yielded on butcher actually had that many of the organ. So a Roc would have 36 brains. And 35 of them would just be to distinguish the different tastes of dwarf.

Actually, all demons, forgotten beasts and titans share the same size: 10,000,000. (fully grown) Dragons are 25,000,000.
Oh yeah, and it's about 142.somethingsomething times bigger than a human I think.

Full-grown sizes may be uniform, but since creatures grow over time, the actual sizes of creatures encountered in-game may vary wildly.

For example, dragons take about 1000 years to reach max size.

now, the question I'd want answered is this: Do creatures like dragons legitimately grow over time to meet the next size listed in the raws, or do they spontaneously become that size (adding or subtracting for modifiers) as soon as the defined time has past?

I guess the real question might be: if we play adventurer/forts for enough years in a single world, will juvenile dragons mature?

Of course, you just need a fortress that lasts a millenium....

Also, didnt dragons have a size dependent on age? i read it in the wiki i think. That would mean its easy to find bigger, meatier creatures than a dragon if it was a relatively young one

Indeed. They start out very small. about 6000 Urists, which is barely larger than a cat. :P
You can see their growth curve now on their wiki page.

When did that get changed anyway... They originally started at 200,000. Suppose it likely came in with the eggs.
