Butchering for fun and profit.
« on: October 16, 2011, 03:03:01 pm »

My militia commander (And also entire Militia) Was taken by a fey mood and demands cut gems, which I have, and body parts, which I don't. I also can't seem to buther anything. Am I doing it wrong?

Best thing to do about the blindness pandemic, train a lot of siege operators. Because they can't see enemies, they won't run in panic.

You have to designate animals for butchering in the animal subsection of the stock (z) menu. You also must have a dorf with butchering enabled and a butcher's workshop open. Remember, the dwarf could be asking for bones, skulls, horns, or ivory. For future reference, questions go in http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?board=7.0.
