Fighter it is, since you have meh dex, you'll want armor and not be limited by it.

This has all of the basic D&D rules for free. No swashbuckler rules, but KoW can tell you about those if you want to play one. For a fighter, you need to pick:

-Two feats from this list.
-A Fighter Bonus Feat from this list.
-A weapon (or two) from this list this list.
-Some armour from this list.
-Whatever other misc eqipment you want to buy off of this list.
-Four of the following skills: Climb, Craft, Handle Animal, Intimidate, Jump, Ride, or Swim.

Making a swashbuckler is similar, except you use the swashbuckler skill list and you get some swashbuckler abilities instead of a fighter bonus feat.
