I know she did die, but the coming back from the dead part was weird. MAybe my opinion will change once I read the newest one.

Well it wasn't really wierd, it happened with Berric before, it was a bit of a shock at the beginning of (AFFC was it?) when you read the prologue and go OHSHI-

If John is dead, he'll possibly come back as something like his dear old uncle. Red priests, even middling ones, seem to have significant ability to heal- for a certain definition of "healing"- and John does happen to be rather close to a good priest.

No matter what, I'm pretty sure he's dead as far as the Night Watch is concerned.

In the next five to ten minutes after the backstabbing, the wildlings will turn on the Watch, and the watch will loose. Then the wall will definitely fall.

The Wall should stand as long as Sam doesn't blow that horn he got from John i think.And Ben (he's coldhands, right?) was brought back by the greenseer i think, or by the children of the forest because i don't think there are many red priests beyond the wall X)

 Jon Snow getting res'd by a Red Priest? Did you not read the prologue of book five? There was no point to that chapter except to inform us that wargs can "cheat death" by going into another body. Now tell me, what was Jon's last word?

If i remember correctly (can't check now, the book is really far away) he felt cold, and before that he said he left Ghost inside (i think) and besides it's not really cheating death, it's just merging with the animal i don't think much of him is left.Besides if she does try and bring him back i think he will be a bit more wolflike or will be an even more powerful warg.
