Waking sleeping dwarves has them stay awake
« on: November 01, 2007, 10:09:00 pm »

If you somehow wake a sleeping dwarf, it seems that they act as if they had a full sleep cycle.

I had two miners digging a big pit (channels). One went to sleep, and immediately had the ground dug out from under him (stunning him, but no injuries). So he wakes up and runs back up to continue digging. Then the other miner went to sleep, and had the ground dug out from under him. Now they are both wide awake and digging while the rest of the fort sleeps.

<edit> woops, nevermind. They do wake up, and stay away a while, but eventually get back to sleep. They stayed up during the other's sleep, then fell asleep themselves.
