Your bragging is worthless unless you're providing seeds.

SWEET. Make Obsidian. Lots and lots of Obsidian. Then turn it all into swords.

I'm actually working on choosing a spot in this exact world.  I'll get a seed posted right afterwards.

Nice, right in the middle of the map, too.

Or so I thought. I just realized that I can't see the cursor on the largest map. Where is this?

never mind, I found it.

Wow, the game actually stops for over a minute when that monster river thaws.

That's why I like using major rivers in warm+ climates; freezing invariably ruins what I want to do with it.

I think I'll play with this one though; thank you muchly for the seed, Lormax.

But that embark is 4x4! :P

Seriously, though, that is awesome. What kind of metals does it have, to anyone who's settled it yet?

Really? I personally think it's awesome to have a massive water source that isn't an aquifer.

No problem, glad I could return a favor after having many of my newb questions answered.

Remove the seeds and just generate a few worlds with those World-Gen parameters.  It's not rare to find a 2x2 embark with a river/brook and a volcano.  There's literally TONS of natural waterfalls on every world genned, and I've found a double natural waterfall in a 4x4 embark plenty of times.  Glacier volcanos, etc...all kinds of good stuff.  The one thing it doesn't have is oceans though.
