Ability to sort Dwarves
« on: October 29, 2011, 04:18:13 pm »

I would really, really like a way to manually sort dwarves in the creatures menu, based upon names (alphabetical), job type, etc. It is just so darn difficult to find anybody with the way it is set up right now, especially in a large fortress.

I'm sorry if this has already been suggested (and I'm almost positive that it has been) but I still want to bring it up.

Or try Dwarf Therapist. It can fulfill many of your deepest and darkest sorting urges.

or maybe Valve goes out of business because they invested too heavily in something which then fails - like, say, human civilization.
Alternatively, initiate strife to refuse additional baked goods, and then abscond.

Dwarf Therapist is amazing, itīs much easier to get an overview of your dwarves, and to organize labors to professions with it. Just give all dwarves a profession in-game, open DT, and click in the professions for each group, no need to go through the labor menues for each dwarf, and re-adding labors for military heroes gets much faster.
