Leprechauns actually. That "magically delicious taste" prefstring soon lead to their total extinction.
Congratulations, you killed the only things considered dominant and have heralded the end of civilization in your world as you know it.

I usually embark on volcanoes but not this time... i wanted a haunted area.

So what have you got against haunted volcanoes?

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

the yaks lived but hte items all dropped infront of the drawbridge how odd...

Free stuff. And you didn't even have to kill the merchants yourself! Hopefully there's some armor in there.

Theres merchant ghosts who disappeared in the atom smasher retracting upwards... shouldnt they be launched? Maybe its because theres a roof over it...

After much testing with skeletal elephants i have found that they are great for spaying and neutering cats. It appears they are absolutely terrible at killing dogs though. I had one dog kill a skeletal Panther... he was later killed by a skeletal jaguar.

I'm just going to stop clicking on youtube altogether  :(.

Also; a hint about your first terrifying. Once you get a military working send them on routine patrols outside to kill any undead that spawn. This helps stop traders and civvies collected socks from outside from getting overwhelmed by entire hordes.

Use more blades than blunts and spears. I know a squad of hammer-toting paladins sounds like the best method for killing skeletons but they are no where near as good as swords against them.

It must have been... 4 years so far... I have 16 dwarves no Dwarf has died... except for a certain atom smashed dwarf... except i engraved him a slab

I now have a Axe Lord and Sword Master.

I may not be getting any Dwarves due to the fact i have the Caravan except for the Liason go Melancholy/Berserk inbetween the double drawbridge...

I also have Obok Teshkaddumat... i can't put him to rest... there is no corpse and i cant engrave a slab... I atom smashed him from exsistence only his soul remained.
