[modding] Bodyglosses

Not sure if it's known. Any custom bodygloss seems to lock the game up when attempting to try and generate a world. That is, right when you select the main menu item for it, it doesn't even show the "alpha-warning" screen.

Also happened when I was trying to do lashing tongues for giant toads.

And nothing in the errorlog, the game just locks like it gets stuck in an infinite loop or something.

Actually... wait, I think I understood what was happening. Both times I tried to replace the name with a name that contains the original. It might really have gone into a permaloop replacing and rereplacing stuff. Dunno what can be done to fix though...  Wait, do you run substring checks in a while loop set to end when the string ends? If that's the case, the string keeps expanding, and the substring start pointer variable keeps increasing and checking for occurences - and it keeps finding those occurences because the replacement contains the original - and keeps going on forever. Maybe limit the thing to a single pass? It's not like bodyglosses ever need to change more than one occurence of a string anyway, the names are too short.

I had this problem recently as well; I tried using [BODYGLOSS:FEATHERY:wing:feathery wing]

The game locks up when I try to create a new world, and nothing shows up in the errorlog.
