Suicidal dwarves? [33g]
« on: December 28, 2007, 10:06:00 pm »

So I embarked on a 4-way river junction and when I embarked, all my dwarves were kind of in the river. Here's a reclaim squad:

They soon fell into the river and drowned, while the Muskox and Horse seemed to be fish as they didn't quite drown. They didn't even start drowning. Darn things.

Okay, I'll extend Bug 467.  Not sure what's going on though, since it does do some checks.  Did that water ever freeze in the original pre-claim game?

Freeze? Like it does in winter? Or just stop flowing? I wasn't paying attention, though. I was like "Darn, gonna have to report this" and let the dwarves die. And I had the save, but I deleted it without thinking. Darn. If it could be part of the problem, this is in a little canyon thing about six Z-levels below the surface.
