preventing pausing?

I tend to mine with fair regularity in this game... so when I'm mining near volcanoes, I'd really like to prevent it from pausing every time I hit warm stone... just removing the task would be fine with me.   As far as I can tell, there's no control over the pausing...  curious if there are some tricks/utilities that are being used to get around it?

hey Infinity, what's up?  Long time no see.

I figured out an answer to your excellent question: hold down the pause/step key "." rather than unpausing with the space bar.   It's a bit slower, but at least they continuously work.
