How fast is time?
« on: September 27, 2011, 12:20:14 pm »

Since time only moves as the adventurer moves, how fast does it go? Would it be unreasonable to play adventure mode for a thousand years in game?

I also just need to ask, what is a "right eye tooth?" A bogeyman just knocked it out of a cougar.

Yes.  The pointy teeth.  The term comes from their location, right below the eyes, I believe.

Playing adventure mode for many years would take a very long time.  Pay attention to how long you have to play to get from dawn to dusk, and that'll give you an idea of how fast time passes.

The most recent DFTalk (which you should really listen to) discussed this.

It takes a lot of patience.

Another question with that, does time pass in Legends as you play? Could you go back through history and see dragons killing peasants etc. during the time you were murdering small children?

the time each step represents varies with your character's speed. if you're severely burdened and crawling, each step takes more ingame time

No. That is ALSO discussed in the DFTalk. It's release 5 in the caravan arc. The next release is release 1, I think :P
