[33g] Merchants won't leave

For some reason the human Merchant Princess is still meeting with the Mayor. Two seasons have come and gone, and so has the human caravan with no problem at all. The conversation between the two simply won't start. The humans haven't gone crazy yet.

In other related(?) news, a pair of elven merchants were spooked by a goblin siege and retreated into my fort. One was killed; the remaining elf and his animal won't leave, even though the 'merchants have embarked on their journey' message came and went.

Is the Mayor in the middle of Conduct Meeting, but interrupting it to do other jobs? Chances are it's the old bug with someone making an appointment with the Mayor and then cancelling it, and the Mayor is trying to hold that meeting, blocking him from any other meetings.

Yeah, he sort of reverts to a 'Conduct Meeting' state whenever he's not doing anything else. He doesn't have any labors turned on. The Merchant Princess and one human guard got killed in a siege, but old Brassale's still rushing up to his room to 'Conduct Meeting.' With ghosts, maybe?
