I just embarked on an island volcano with tons of metal, if anyone wants it.

It's got gold, silver, sphalerite, and hematite before the first cavern layer. Oh yes, there's sand and clay, too.

Shame it's an island. Goblin inaccessible makes for a boring fortress. I suppose it would be good if you want to colonise hell.
