[38b] soldiers don't store their clothes in their cabin
« on: March 04, 2008, 11:04:00 pm »

My dwarves all have cabinets, and yet there's clothes littering near the forges and in the barracks.  My champions' dirty underwear is lying out, neither being worn nor being put into their cabinets.

[noob here] I've had the same situation. When you undraft them, they will (in my experience) get "store owned items" tasks, but normal haulers don't store stuff owned by other dwarves.

Normal haulers don't dare touch anything owned by anyone else to do anything with it: like dumping it.

Oh, good point.  So, soldiers don't haul, and haulers don't touch soldiers' negliges.  For the latter, I can't really blame them; for the former, I guess these dwarves' mothers have this tendency of dying before she can ever instill neatness in them.
