Cryo: A Text Adventure

The alarm sounds loudly in the distance. You know that signal. Xenos on board. Unknown xenos. You run towards the med-bay praying that you can get to the cryo pods in time.

You wake up in a blueish coffin. The screen should allow you to see outside the coffin, but it's covered with frost. You breath rapidly, terrified and cold, and try to scream. You are too weak, and just emit a croak. Something hisses, and the coffin's door opens. You stumble out for air, breathing it in. The room you are in seems to be a hospital, but completely empty. It's quite clean and tidy, with several other coffins like yours. You start to remember things. Those are cryostasis pods.

You slide under the rapidly closing door and into the medbay. You set the cryo pod for two years. You pray you don't get brain-damage.

You know who you are. Michael, that's your name. Looking around, you find a nice jumpsuit and a labcoat to wear. You were a doctor, but your memories are vague. You know your past, but you can't remember why you got into the cryo pod. The latest thing you remember is signing up to be part of the A.U.F Jargamander.

Something creaks. You jump, noticing that is has been really quiet. Something happened on this ship. You need to find out what.
