Okies... I have a unique one...

Running 11.04, and installed Dwarf Therapist per the above instructions.

Runs beautifully (but only from the actual icon in the folder... launcher appears and immediately closes [despite pointing directly to the launcher???])...  as far as I can tell, it does connect to DF, (I click the 'connect' button, and it grays out like it did its thing).

My problem comes when I try to read from DF... it states:

"Dwarf Fortress has either stopped running, or you unloaded your game. Please re-connect when a fort is loaded."

I am running it as root, in fact, to do so I changed the 'Run with:' section of properties to gksu... it was the only way I could find to run the program as root since the launcher won't work.

I am really not sure what I am missing, here... other than Dwarf Therapist.
