Eating in adventure mode produces too much refuse
« on: November 02, 2006, 01:53:00 pm »

Instead of producing one unit of refuse per item consumed, it produces one unit per item in the stack.  For example, with a stack of 5 plump helmets, eating one produces 5 plump helmet spawn.  Consuming the whole stack would produce 15.

Isn't that fine?  A hungry dwarf picks up one turtle or helmet at a time, and produces one shell/bones or spawn at a time.  It's the food processing jobs that work on stacks that can behave weirdly, unless I've misunderstood the bug.

He means that just eating one of the plump helmets gives you 5 spawn.  Eating the next gives 4, then 3, then 2, then finally 1 like it's supposed to.  5+4+3+2+1 = 15.
