Make a copy of your save folder, then go into DF and load the game from the new folder, abandon your fortress, then start a legends mode game and export the world (p from the main legends screen).

In your root folder will be a file called <world>-world_gen_params.txt. Copy the content of that file and paste here wrapped in [ spoiler ][ code ]params go here[ /code ][ /spoiler ] (without the spaces).

You can go to the escape menu, and "export local image" or something like that. That makes a file; the seed is somewhere in there. Without detailed directions, though, bloodtoes' answer is probably easier.

And anything with a cliff is a good embark for me!

Hmm. Could we still get an image of the embark selection screen? Following your directions, I find myself in a flat forest. So I'm wondering if the world genned wrong for me.

You accidently screen-shot'd when the x was in the 'off' blink. For those who can't find it, just aim for the 'center' of the middle and last screen, and it should be easy to find.
