My extractors have little to no skill, and im racing against a forgotten beast. How long will it take for me to extract a strand of adamantine?

spoilers, for one (Cotton Candy's what you want).  And your best way to keep track of it is with the manager subscreen (u -> m).

With little to no strand extraction skill, it takes a long time.

I usually set up 8 or more workshops to speed up the process.

If I could use one word to describe the amount of time for an unskilled strand extractor to do their work, it would be "shitload". "Fuckton", maybe, but I like the former better.

I prefer to measure the time it takes in "parties forcibly ended because get back to work you fucks."

Longest I've seen a strand take is four.

You get plenty of useless haulers. Just make more craftsdwarf's workshops, turn some of those haulers into strand extractors, and make the rest of them haul the stones up for processing.

Who is going to have anything in the game spoiled for them by seeing the word adamantine? It is only ever called cotton candy when it is referenced with HFS.

Yeah, addy ain't really spoilers by itself. In fact, it's pretty much the opposite.
