disappearing seeds

At first I thought this was related to the problem in which a hauling job conflicts with a planting job for seeds, but it seems that this is not the case.

My farmers will pick up a seed and then it will immediately disappear.  They still walk over to the farm plot and then complain that the seed has been destroyed.  There is no new planted seed in the farm plot, and when I look in the kitchen I have one fewer seed.  Most of my seeds have already been destroyed this way.  Every once in a while the seed doesn't disappear and is successfully planted.

Are the seeds stored outside?  Could be the rain (Bug 310).

Ah, that would explain it.  I think I remember hearing something about that now.  Thanks, Toady.  I'll store them inside from now on.
