So I Placed A Floor But Want Stairs There Now...

I cannot figure out HOW to remove the floor that I placed so I can put stairs in. I am trying to make a well and everything is ready except a single set of stairs that I accidentally placed a floor above which if I had stairs going down there I could remove the second lair stairs and then FINALLY complete my first well hah... so any info would be appreciated.

Designations -> Remove constructions (I think it's 'd' -> 'n' or 'd' -> 'x')

Well a kitten was standing on top of it right when it got removed and died... worth it. THANK YOU! Hah I was doing Remove Designation before... didn't think about remove construction WHICH IT IS! Stupid me. Thanks again!
