caged animals dieing

it's been a while since i last played and i just got the newest version, however now my caged animals(so far a yak and a camel) have died of starvation in a cage! wtf i thoght you didnt have to feed them? how do i feed them?

Animals that regularly eat still need to eat in a cage now. This means grazers will die, and dwarves will die if they aren't brought food and drink.

Most herbivores need to graze now.  Camels and yaks are included.   You need to create a pasture zone somewhere with grass or cave moss and assign your grazing animals to it.
