Halberds

I added Halberds to the list of weapons dwarves can use (and changed them to spears). How do I allow my Magma Forge to forge them?

If your civ has the weapon, it can be forged. You need to generate a new world, though.

Really? I have to make a new world in order to use halberds? Damn.
Oh well. There's this one forgotten beast that keeps destroying me when I go into the caverns. A flying leech with external ribs, made from Fire Opal. It has a very unpleasant breath attack. I hate this thing so much I guess it's worth it.

You don't NEED halberds that much, do you? :P

Anyway, I tried the same with morningstars. Sadly, I had to regen as well. The problem is that while your entity is changed in the raws, you civilization isn't. That's why some civs don't have high boots, for example.
