Finally done reinstalling XP, so now my computer's no longer being retarded and refusing to properly load sound drivers (I just have to re-install everything).

Steam's done too, if people still have guest passes.

ED: Belay that request- I've heard that's it's fairly resource-intensive, so I need to make sure I'm to the point where games run again (and possibly re-install my graphics card)

Shattered Horizon doesn't run on Windows XP.  You need Vista or 7 and Directx10

It's a pretty fun game, I bought it on a free weekend (or a steam sale, I can't remember) a year or so back. The best feature, I think, is the silent running mode, where you shut down most of your suit, so that you don't show up as an enemy/ally on enemies/allies HUD's, but you get a lot more sluggish controls and lose your sound. It enables awesome ambushes on dark maps. :D

I'd love to play a few rounds with people from here, since most servers that aren't empty these days are populated with only very good players who completely murder anyone without a lot of experience with the game.

Its like Red Orchestra Danzig 24/7 servers. With multiple maps. Without the gravity.

I had to have spent half my time in silent running. I only wish they had gone for full newtonian instead of max speeds.
