Mining 101: Learn To Play Dwarf Fortress

Apparently someone is actually hosting a series of classes devoted to teaching people how to play.  Check it out!
Or not, I don't really care.

I think we've hit some kind of milestone when people are making online classes devoting to teaching people how to play this game.

If only they knew what they're getting into.

When I was learning how to play this game, I sometimes felt like I was putting more effort in this than at the school  :P

When I was learning how to play this game, I sometimes felt like I was putting more effort in this than at the school  :P

Learning to play this game is significantly harder than most things you'll learn in school. Much more rewarding, also.
