Yes, but it's incredibly unlikely, is my point. If you don't consider the risk of getting hit and killed by a drunk driver to be sufficient reason to pass on seeing that movie with your buddies, then you probably shouldn't consider the risk of "red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin" to be sufficient reason to pass on some ibuprofen the next time you have a headache.

True, most side effects are very rare. Except for dizzyness and so for pain medication.

God DAMN I love this game!

In a similar vein:

I don't recall the exact drug, but I think it was an acne medication that listed at least the following potential side effects:

potentially fatal liver damage, total loss of lung function, heart failure and even death.

Why do they list 3 ways to die, and even death?

As opposed to odd death?

Heart failure isn't odd death. Hell the most natural death that exists is a lot of odd things that lead to hearth failure. Fatal hearth failure is the same as death.

And that is an acne cure, OMG dude.

Accutane, most likely. When I was on it, they were monitoring my blood sugar, liver enzymes, sleep cycle, and something else that they had to draw blood for. I was at risk for Crohns disease, liver failure, lung failure, heart failure, spontaneous internal bleeding, and a whole lot of other stuff.

Goddammit, if you have to stay awake for 36 hours a time, just do meth like normal people.  Every morning you'll still awake, twitchy, psychotic, and most importantly fully-skinned, you'll be saving the world.
The trouble with the "fully skinned" part is that you'll think you need to get the beetles out from under it.  The end always the same.

Further proof that this is just re-purposed meth. They can bill the fact it sloughs your skin off instead of requiring you to scratch it off like a psycho as a "time saving" feature. Perfect for the meth head who is just too busy destroying the world to destroy themselves with the same level of attention.

How about those drugs that cause, as a side effect, the uncontrollable urge to gamble?  Don't tell me I'm the only one that has ever heard of that.

Uncle Jimmy calls that'n whiskey, but mayhaps you city-folk have a different name for it.

I think the real issue isn't the 1/1000% chance that your skin will peel off if you take it, it's that someone designed a useful drug that is probably addictive.
